Our tenancy Drop In Sessions offer young people extra support each week in addition to the tenancy support we provide. They take place each and every Wednesday at Great Yarmouth Library 9.30am - 11.30am .
The purpose of these sessions is to bring in our partners and other support available to our young people and build their knowledge of where to access support on a wide range of issues. This also enables them to find out about positive activities and community events they can be involved in. We have regularly been joined by neighbourhoods that work, independent landlords, GY Bike Project, CAB and MAP and Inspired Youth to offer advice and opportunities.
These drop in sessions remain open to young people who may have moved into independence but may have an issue or require advice. As part of our partnership with Great Yarmouth College we will also be hosting a drop in each month within the cafe bar at the college.
The Drop In sessions very much follow our community approach and compliment and enhance our tenancy support by giving young people the confidence and resilience to address issues and challenges as early as possible, We encourage attendance by all our young people to ensure they are fully aware of the activities and events we are involved in and that our partners may have available to them.
If you would like to know more, or you have services, events or opportunities available to our young people and would like to use our tenancy drop in as a platform in which to sign young people up then we would love to hear from you.
